A 2-bay 18650 battery case is the cheapest piece of safety gear we sell. It holds two 18650 cells in separate slots so the terminals can't touch each other, or the keys and coins in your pocket. If you run a mod on external batteries, you want one of these for the spare.
It stops shorts. A loose lithium cell bridging a key or a coin can dump its charge in seconds, get hot enough to burn, and in the worst case vent. A couple of dollars of plastic prevents that.
It protects the wrap. Cells rattling around a bag pick up nicks in the outer wrap. A torn wrap exposes the negative can along the whole length of the cell, which is how most battery accidents start.
It keeps pairs together. Dual-battery mods want cells that are charged and aged together. A two-bay case is the easy way to keep a married pair from getting mixed up.
Any 18650 cell. Cells and 18650 devices we stock:
Never carry a loose cell. Not in a pocket, not in a purse pocket, not in the cup holder. Case it or leave it home.
Check the wrap every time you charge. Any tear or exposed metal at the top ring means the cell gets re-wrapped or retired before it goes back in a mod.
This case is sized for 18650s. Larger 20700 and 21700 cells need the 20700/21700 case.
Ships nationwide. In-store pickup and local delivery (Twin Cities metro) are also available at checkout.
