A 2-bay 20700/21700 battery case for the bigger cells that high-wattage mods have moved to. Two separate slots keep the terminals apart from each other and from whatever else is in your bag. If you own a spare 21700, this is where it lives.
It stops shorts. A 21700 stores more energy than an 18650, so a loose cell touching keys or coins is an even worse idea. A case makes the accident impossible.
It protects the wrap. The outer wrap is the only insulation on the side of a cell. Cells that ride loose pick up nicks, and a torn wrap is the most common reason we retire a battery.
Right-sized. An 18650 case won't close on a 21700. This one is cut for the longer, wider cells, and 20700s fit as well.
Never carry a loose cell. Case it, every time, even for the walk from the car to the shop.
Look at the wrap before it goes in the charger. Any tear, or exposed metal around the positive end, means re-wrap or retire.
Running 18650s? The 18650 case is the same idea in the smaller size.
