The Molicel P26A is the 18650 we recommend for regulated mods, and the one GeekVape names in its own manuals. It's a 2600mAh cell rated for 25A continuous, with a very low internal resistance, which is the combination that matters in a device firing at 60 to 100W: enough capacity to get through the day and enough current headroom that the cell never runs near its limit.
Honest ratings. Molicel publishes a datasheet, and the numbers on it hold up in independent testing. Plenty of 18650s on the market print "40A" on the wrap with nothing behind it. This one says 25A and means it.
Low resistance, cool running. The P26A stays cooler than most cells at high draw, which is easier on the mod and on the battery's lifespan.
The safe default. If you're not sure which cell a mod wants, this is the answer for nearly every single- and dual-18650 mod we sell.
Fits any mod that takes flat-top 18650 cells. Mods, chargers and cases we stock:
Never carry a loose cell. An 18650 that touches keys or coins in a pocket can short and get hot fast. Use a case. Every time.
Check the wrap. If the plastic wrap is torn or the top insulator ring is missing, retire the cell or have it rewrapped before it goes in a mod. Exposed metal on the side of a cell is the negative terminal.
Flat-top, not button-top. This cell has a flat positive end. Most mods, including the Aegis line, are built for flat-tops; a button-top cell may not fit the battery door.
Dual-battery mods want a married pair. Buy two at the same time, charge them together, use them together, and don't split them up.
Charge in a dedicated charger when you can, and don't leave cells charging unattended overnight.
