The Aspire Zelos M80 is a compact single-battery mod with a built-in 2600mAh cell, up to 80W, a 0.96-inch color screen and five output modes, in a zinc-alloy body that fits a shirt pocket. This is the mod on its own; bring your own 510 tank.
It's the mod we suggest for someone who wants a real screen and adjustable wattage without carrying spare batteries.
Right-sized power. 80W is plenty for a mouth-to-lung tank like the Nautilus 3 and enough for a modest sub-ohm coil. Most people who buy this mod will spend their time between 12 and 30W, where the 2600mAh battery lasts a full day.
A screen you can read. The 0.96-inch TFT shows wattage, resistance, battery and puff count, with eight brightness levels for indoors or sun.
Five modes, one you'll use. Wattage, Voltage, Bypass, Temperature Control and CPS (Aspire's custom power curve). Wattage mode is where nearly everyone leaves it.
USB-C at 2A. A built-in battery is only convenient if it charges quickly. The M80 does, and there's a dual-button lock so it won't fire in a pocket.
Any 510-threaded tank. Aspire's own Nautilus 3 is the natural match, and the K3 is a good fit for a smaller, lower-power setup:
Tank width. The mod is about 36mm wide, so a 24mm tank like the Nautilus 3 sits well inside the top plate. Tanks wider than about 26mm will overhang the edges.
Let it pick the wattage. When you attach a new tank, the M80 reads the coil resistance. Start at the low end of the range printed on the coil and work up.
The battery is built in, so the mod's life is the battery's life. Avoid leaving it on a charger overnight or in a hot car.
