The Efest LUC V4 is a four-bay lithium-ion charger with an LCD and three charge rates: 0.5A or 1A across all four slots, or 2A in the two center slots when you need an 18650 back fast. It's the charger for anyone running a dual-battery mod, because four bays means a full set on the charger and a full set in the mod.
Four independent bays. Each slot charges and reports on its own. Married pairs go in together and come out together.
2A when you need it. The two center bays will push 2A into a high-drain cell. That's the fast setting; 0.5A is the kind one.
Voltage on screen. The LCD shows each cell's voltage and progress. A cell that won't climb past 4.0V, or drops fast after it comes off, is telling you it's time to retire it.
Power bank. A 1A USB output lets a charged cell top up a phone.
Any 3.7V lithium cell up to 18650 size; it isn't sized for 21700s. The cells and devices we stock that go with it:
Inspect the wrap first. A nicked wrap or exposed metal at the positive end means the cell gets re-wrapped or retired, not charged.
Flat-top and button-top both fit. Spring contacts take either. Positive end toward the top of the bay.
Use 2A sparingly. It's fine for a high-drain 18650 like the P26A. Small cells and older cells should stay on 0.5A.
Don't leave it running unattended for hours. Hard surface, nothing flammable nearby, cells out when the display says done. Loose cells go in a case, never a pocket.
Only need two bays? The LUC V2 is the smaller version.
