Overview
The Flower Mill Next-Gen Standard 2.5" takes a different approach to breaking down flower. Instead of cutting and shredding material between traditional grinder teeth, the Flower Mill uses a toothless milling system that gently rolls flower across the mill plate until it naturally passes through.
The result is an easy, low-effort way to process flower with less crushing and compacting—and a noticeably different experience from using a conventional grinder.
Why we like it
The Flower Mill isn't just another variation on a four-piece grinder. Its toothless design is what makes it interesting. Rather than forcing flower between sharp teeth, you load the chamber, replace the top and twist it back and forth with very little downward pressure. The mill does the work quickly without requiring much force.
The 2.5" Standard holds up to 3.5 grams, making it large enough to process a useful amount at once without becoming cumbersome. A BPA-free plastic bushing keeps the action smooth, while the magnetic top and quick-release lower catch make it easy to open and access your flower.
Unlike a traditional four-piece grinder with a separate pollen chamber, the Next-Gen Standard is a three-piece design, so everything you mill remains together in the catch.

How to use
Break larger buds into smaller pieces and place them around the milling chamber, avoiding the center post. Set the top in place without pressing the flower down.
With the top held level, twist it back and forth using very little downward pressure. The flower will move across the milling surface and fall through as it reaches the proper consistency. Flower Mill notes that the process generally finishes faster than you might expect.
Good to Know
There is a little bit of a technique difference if you've spent years using a traditional grinder: don't press down and grind aggressively. Flower Mills are designed to work with minimal downward force. Letting the flower move freely through the chamber is part of what makes the milling system work.
