The DynaVap The "B" is the simplest way into DynaVap: five parts, two materials, no battery. A stainless steel tip and cap sit in a food-grade silicone stem that doesn't get hot in the hand, and the whole thing is 3.5 inches long. Heat the cap with a torch while turning it, wait for the click, and draw.
Five parts, nothing to charge. Captive cap, tip, condenser and CCD screen in stainless steel, plus the silicone stem. There's no battery to die, no menu to learn, and no electronics to fail.
The click. The cap's thermal indicator clicks when the bowl reaches temperature and again when it cools. Heat, click, draw.
A stem that stays cool. The silicone stem is comfortable right after heating, won't crack in a pocket, and its pentagonal shape keeps the "B" from rolling off a table.
Adjustable airflow, water-piece ready. Slide the condenser to open or restrict the draw, and the 10mm tapered mouthpiece fits a 10mm water piece with no adapter.
Part of the system. The tip is backwards compatible with DynaVap's accessories, so caps, screens and the DynaCoil all carry over.
You'll need a butane torch. Torches and DynaVap spares we stock:
Grind medium-fine, fill the tip loosely, and press the cap on. Hold the flame just below the top of the cap and rotate steadily. At the click, move the flame away and draw slowly. A second click as it cools means it's ready to heat again.
Don't overheat. If you keep heating past the click, the bowl will scorch and the taste goes with it. Stop at the click every time.
Thinking about the B2? The newer B2 has a larger 0.075g bowl and a redesigned stem. The original "B" is the smaller, lighter-load option.
Clean the tip and condenser with isopropyl alcohol; the silicone stem rinses with warm water.
